Redbank Estate is more than just a place to stay – it's a journey through time, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Upper Hunter Valley. Originally part of the historic Redbank Village, the property's roots stretch back to 1828, when an inn and store first opened on this very land.

In 1920, William and Minnie Badgery acquired the estate and began its transformation into the iconic horse breeding stud that would become Wakefield Stud, breeder of Subzero, the winner of the 1992 Melbourne Cup.

Today, Redbank Estate seamlessly blends heritage charm with modern amenities. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying a meal in the expansive kitchen, you'll experience a private and luxurious retreat.

We were so lucky to have discovered the beautiful Redbank Estate for a getaway with 16 friends. The property was huge with immaculate grounds and stunning views overlooking the stud ranch, a large beautiful pool, 3 living areas, a walk-in cool room and pantry and large under cover areas, which all made for a wonderful atmosphere for the weekend. The owner was so friendly and responsive to communicate with; and it was easy to pop into Scone when needed. Highly recommend Redbank Estate

We were a group of four families who stayed at the property during the Christmas holidays. The property was perfect for a large group of people and had so much space for everyone to be separate and together when needed. The amenities such as the tennis court, the pool, pool table, the games room and the large areas of lawn was perfect for the kids and adults to be entertained all day long and the bedrooms were large and comfortable for a good night's sleep! My personal favourite part of the house was the large kitchen and specifically the cool room in the kitchen, which meant you didn't have to worry about stuffing food for 20 people in which was great! We loved our stay so much we extended one more night to catch the New Year's eve fireworks at Muswellbrook, which was recommended by the host. Both Alex and Lucy were wonderful to communicate with and got us everything we needed as quickly as possible! We are looking forward to coming back and staying at this property!
